Application

Entanglement has switched over to a dressing room format for now, so applications aren't needed for the time being.

FANDOM CHARACTER APPLICATION:

ORIGINAL CHARACTER APPLICATION:

Whichever application you're posting, please put the character's name, if they're an OC, and their fandom (if any) in the subject line.

Note again that you are allowed to use musebox posts and posts on [livejournal.com profile] testrun_box for your sample. In that case, your total amount of tags written will be added up, so the initial post can be shorter than normal for a sample. You're still required to use a prose format and set the sample in the game universe though.

Lucy/Nyu 2/2

Abilities and Skills:
As a Diclonious, Lucy has access to the use of her Vectors, a set of invisible arms that she can manipulate with her mind. These strange limbs can be manipulated as weapons by vibrating them as a frequency at which they can cut through human flesh and bone. The Vectors are also the means by which Diclonious “reproduce” as they infect human males with a virus that causes any offspring they may produce to be born as Silpelit Diclonious, beings sometime referred to as “workers” that are weaker then “pure” Diclonious and exist only to infect others with the virus. Silpelit Diclonious are sterile while Lucy herself is apparently capable of giving birth as a normal human being would and as a result could theoretically produce more “pure” Diclonious if she ever tried to.

Sample:
Lucy roamed the halls of the station direction less and despondent, her eyes perpetually glued to the barren floor. This place had been filled with humans to, she thought, and from what she gathered from the chatter around her, many worlds beyond this and her own were as well. It was enough drive the young Diclonious to her usual unhappy place and the idea that she was destined to be isolated and mistreated by those around her. She wondered if she would have to carry out the mission she had set forth for herself in her youth, “I could infect every male in this place within in a week”, she murmured to herself, inaudible to those around her. With that vile thought in her mind, Lucy continues dragging herself forward with no real goal or destination in mind, until, without warning, a woman emerges from the side hall way, looking over documents of some kind she is equally unaware of Lucy as the Diclonious was of her. The pair quickly meet path, as the woman knocks Lucy to the ground, causing a look of fury to emerge in her eyes.

On edge because of the environment around her and feelings dug deep into her psyche, the minor infraction causes Lucy's Vectors to spring forth. The phantom hands lashed out at the innocent by standard with surgical precision , overlaying themselves with the woman's brain, with a mere thought she could rend the woman to pieces as she had so many times, leaving the hall splattered with blood and severed body parts. No one would be able to trace the killing, it would look like a freak accident. But, after a moment the ghostly hands withdrew from the woman's head, leaving her safe from any harm they may have inflicted on her. Unaware of her own brush with death, the woman continues to yell at the floor bound Lucy, shouting insults against her intelligence, among other things. Yet, Lucy offers no response, she didn't think such a loud person deserved any response, instead opting to spring to her feet and slowly shuffle past the human beside her.

Lucy knew the woman had done nothing to harm her. It would be best to reserve any acts of aggression for the soldiers and scientists who had followed her since her youth, she thought. That was perhaps the only positive aspect of being flung into this dank, sterile, place, no one was chasing her anymore, no one knew what a Diclonious was for that matter either. For the time being, Lucy would be allowed a degree of anonymity, a happy coincidence she is more then willing to enjoy until the moment that someone becomes wise to her nature. Then, she thought to herself, she might have to go on the run again. But to where, she was not certain...

Lucy roamed the halls of the station direction less and despondent, her eyes perpetually glued to the barren floor. From what she gathered, this place, and worlds beyond, were filled with humans like those found on earth. This fact drove the young Diclonious to her usual unhappy place and with it, the idea that she was destined to be isolated and mistreated by those around her. She wondered if she would have to carry out the mission she had set forth for herself in her youth. “I could infect every male in this place within in a week”, she murmured to herself, inaudible to those around her. With that vile thought in her mind, Lucy continues dragging herself forward with no real goal or destination in mind, until, without warning, a woman emerged from a side hall way. Looking over documents of some kind, she was equally unaware of Lucy as the Diclonious was of her. The pair quickly crossed paths, resulting in the woman knocking Lucy to the ground and causing a look of fury to emerge within the Diclonious girl's eyes.

On edge because of the environment around her and having reignited dark memories of the past, the minor infraction caused Lucy's Vectors to spring forth. The phantom hands lashed out at the innocent woman with almost surgical precision , quickly overlaying themselves with the woman's brain. Lucy knew that with a mere thought she could rend the woman to pieces, leaving the hall splattered with blood and severed body parts. No one would be able to trace the killing, it would look like a freak accident. But, after a moment the ghostly hands withdrew from the woman's head, leaving her safe from any harm they may have been inflicted on her. Unaware of her own brush with death, the woman continued to yell at the floor bound Lucy, shouting insults against her intelligence among other things. Lucy simply ignored the woman's comments and walked past her without speaking a word.

Lucy knew the woman had done nothing to harm her and imagined it would be best to reserve any acts of aggression for the soldiers and scientists who had followed her since her youth. As she recalled the horrors of her past, a thought occurred in Lucy's mind. Perhaps there was a positive aspect of having been flung into this place and far from those who sought to do her harm. Then, flexing her new found anonymity, Lucy quickly disappeared into the deep recesses of the station, a look of of mild relief on her face.
