Whichever application you're posting, please put the character's name, if they're an OC, and their fandom (if any) in the subject line.

Note again that you are allowed to use musebox posts and posts on testrun_box for your sample. In that case, your total amount of tags written will be added up, so the initial post can be shorter than normal for a sample. You're still required to use a prose format and set the sample in the game universe though.

Canon Point you're taking him/her/it from: Modern Day, 2010. He will have just arrived on Senburu-Trati.
Method of Arrival on Station: Method 4. One of those pod things picked him up and deposited him near the space station.

Personality: Above all, America loves freedom and justice for all. He cannot stand to see the guilty go unpunished or the weak or poor oppressed. This leads to him policing other nations and sticking his nose into their business, earning him few friends. But he means well, truly wanting the world to be peaceful and settled.

Brimming full of life, the young nation is cheerful and energetic almost to the point of annoying. He walks and talks with the persuasive and forceful confidence of one who rarely lost a war. It is because of this that he comes across as somewhat conceited, but he is really worn beneath it all, tired of bearing the weight of the vastly diverse opinions of his populace and caught between the two widely different stances on love, sexuality, family and foriegn relations. His mask over this is a smile, beaming and confident and could not possibly be fake. Except, occasionally, it is.

Abilities and Skills: One word: super-strength. He carried a heavy car for an hour just to ask England if he could borrow it. His punches will send you through a wall if he gets a hold of you and has reason to let himself go.

He's a damn good shot with any sort of gun. In fact, he boasts about being able to handle any sort of weapon, and it's pretty true. Only antique weapons such as old models of swords and pole arms give him trouble.

His forceful personality and ability to talk people down despite his nosiness.

His ability to force down strange and inedible things would count as a power too, I suppose.

Sample: There is a muffled muttering from within the room they had placed him when he was removed from the pod, still asleep and clutching at his pillow. "...Boss.... just needs to wait, I'll... be up for the meeting in five more minutes..."

Then there was a scream, and he buried his head in the pillow. He had glimpsed the advanced technology and metal walls of the space station. "No, no, no! I cannot be kidnapped! Stupid aliens, this is a bad time!" Scowling, trying to look serious, he popped his head back up and waggled his finger at the technology as if it could hear him. "Send me back now, Tony, you know I have a meeting!"

When there was no answer, he scowled harder and pushed himself up off of the bed, crossing the floor in long strides to hit one of the buttons on the thing, presumably some sort of radio. "Hey! I said let me go!"

While overall we enjoyed your application and mostly found it a good fit for the game, we would like to hear a bit more about America/Alfred's flaws. There is no need to make any other changes.

Additional Personality/Flaws section: America will tell you that he is straight, but in reality, he is bi-curious and horrified by it. He feels incredibly guilty and ashamed to admit that he would even consider another person of his gender that way, thinking that he is letting his people down by going against nature and what is right. That is, when he even allows himself to think about it, which is a very rare occasion.

As for his personal stance on foreign relations, America believes that he is the hero. He is obsessed with being the hero, saying that he can and will save rest of the world and he can do what's right and just. Did I mention he was conceited? Because he is.

He "lacks" the ability to see the atmosphere and react accordingly, but that is more himself not wanting to rather than being completely oblivious of it. He is obsessed with weight and has been known to go to the gym and then freak out over gaining a few pounds despite it being muscle and not fat.

He envisions himself to have a happy ending because all heroes have happy endings, right?
