Application
Entanglement has switched over to a dressing room format for now, so applications aren't needed for the time being.
FANDOM CHARACTER APPLICATION:
ORIGINAL CHARACTER APPLICATION:
Whichever application you're posting, please put the character's name, if they're an OC, and their fandom (if any) in the subject line.
Note again that you are allowed to use musebox posts and posts on
testrun_box for your sample. In that case, your total amount of tags written will be added up, so the initial post can be shorter than normal for a sample. You're still required to use a prose format and set the sample in the game universe though.

Appearance (http://mattkendrick.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/night-fury-02.png)
Personality: Devious and intelligent, Toothless’ life was relatively uncomplicated befopre meeting Hiccup. As a rare Night Fury, he rarely, if ever met another of his kind, finding company, instead, in other species of dragon, or more commonly, not at all. He’s elitist over his speed and power, finding nothing strange in bossing around or fighting creatures many times his own size and weight. Given to bullheadedness, Toothless rarely gives up, even when something is clearly futile. Being without human notions of language, his thinking is largely symbolic in nature, often to the point of confusion. His is a world where death is rarely more than one step away, and as a result he has little tolerance for procedural imperfections in those he sees as equals. Fortunately, this is relatively few, and thus his protective instincts prevent his human half from being injured on multiple occasions. Toothless likes to teach those he sees as helpless, and takes it as a matter of course that they should be ignorant in the ways of the world- especially humans.
when faced with death, even when helpless before it, he accepts it bravely, from the initial ‘do as you must,’ when under Hiccup’s knife to the eventual culminating battle against the Green Death as a ‘If I’m going down, you are coming with me.’ Friendly though he has become towards humans, one should never mistake him for a tame dragon, in the same way one would never provoke an elephant, no matter how well-trained it may seem. In a fight, he prefers the night attack, relying on speed and stealth to protect him, but doesn’t hesitate to attempt intimidation, where he must.Though naturally suspicious of most new things, his association with humans has lead to a wider expression of curiosity than previously shown. It’s probable that, while Toothless has achieved his full growth, he’s still relatively young for his kind, and thus still childish, like a yearling puppy. Hiccup’s role in crippling Toothless’ tail-based rudder mechanism at first lead to a grudging dependence, followed at length by an attitude of superiority. ‘Of course you bring me my food. Why would I event want to hunt for myself? More sea bass, slave!’
Abilities and Skills: He’s a dragon. He can breathe fire and fly, or rather, he could, before he was crippled. He can run fast, and with some help, fly faster.

The crate was dim, shifting under its own weight and low-grade momentum of the boxes around it. It was wooden, which was uncommon for the region, but not unheard of, and loosely slatted on top, to allow for airflow. Theoretically, it contained the giant space-goose, a rare delicacy brought aboard to face the tender mercies of Chef Glr'Brrrnglorp, and eventually to grace the plates of all aboard. For those who knew of it, there was no fiercer beast, nor tastier dish- and of course, no one would think twice of such a creature growling.
Toothless didn't know exactly how he'd managed to get into the crate. All he knew was that it was stiflingly small, that it stank and shifted and threatened him with vertigo, and that he'd been trapped there for long enough that he was beginning beginning to lose the edge of aggression to the single-minded decision-making patterns of hunger. Then came a sound he hadn't heard before, the crack and creak of the crate being opened- presumably by his captor. The crate was too small to turn around in, but it didn't take much thought to keep from hunching away from the light- instead, he lunged for it, and the crate burst open in a flurry of alien cephalopod curses and flying crockery.
Enraged, the dragon roared at the flailing limbs, then spat fire when a frying pan glanced off his shoulder. With two scrambling leaps, Toothless overset half the furniture in the room, scattered ingredients and utensils across the floor and leapt spread-winged and wild-eyed into the hall. Wherever the crate had taken him, this dragon didn't care. He had to find his boy.
