Application
Entanglement has switched over to a dressing room format for now, so applications aren't needed for the time being.
FANDOM CHARACTER APPLICATION:
ORIGINAL CHARACTER APPLICATION:
Whichever application you're posting, please put the character's name, if they're an OC, and their fandom (if any) in the subject line.
Note again that you are allowed to use musebox posts and posts on
testrun_box for your sample. In that case, your total amount of tags written will be added up, so the initial post can be shorter than normal for a sample. You're still required to use a prose format and set the sample in the game universe though.

Hokh'Ton Elloran n'Taanyell Tath 2/3
The result? Elloran tries his best to hide his emotions and put up a good front, while secretly angsting over the destruction he knows he must endorse. He drowns himself in music and art partially because he finds the truth, joy and beauty in it that he is denied in all other facets of his life. Outwardly he is a calm man who can come off as rather callous (he thinks on a scale not familiar to most people. To him, the destruction of an entire world is hardly worth noticing.) For the same reasons, he often can be seen as arrogant or naïve; he lives in a world where his every demand is met and adapting to a place where that is no longer the case will be difficult for him (but well worth the effort, once he realizes that he is no longer encumbered by Inquestoral dogma and might be able to have real relationships with people.) Yet, despite all of his flaws, Elloran does care deeply about the people around him and this shows through, despite the constraints upon his ability to articulate it. Within his home universe he is well loved by most who meet him, and he makes a point to listen and understand those around him. In the time he is taken from in his canon he has not yet perfected that skill, but even then his charisma and compassion are difficult to deny. One merely must ignore the fact that his compassion leads him to destroy whole solar systems in an attempt to keep all of humanity functioning.
Abilities and Skills: Elloran is a “normal” human in that he has no special super-human powers. He cannot call upon magic nor is he particularly athletic. He has no special knowledge; his power is all situational. Yet he has been trained since a young age to be a leader. He appears confident and is very intelligent. He is kind and a good listener…all qualities that lead others to follow him. He has extreme control over his emotions and his thought processes, meaning that – though he cannot perform “magic” without a thinkhive backing him up – he would be able to defend himself against non-physical attacks, given that the power of one’s mind and convictions is what determines non-physical power in the hub-verse.

Then the young Inquestor was hit with a sudden pang of loss, coupled with a rush of euphoria. To think that, for the first time in over fifty years, he had freedom. His old life was gone – the palace, the servants, all his friends and enemies…but so to was the Inquest. It was rather hard to believe. No galactic tyrants watching over his shoulder. No endless games of makrugh defining his life. Yes, this mission – to join this alleged ‘resistance’ and gauge which side the Inquest should support in the upcoming conflict – was devastatingly important to the survival of his galaxy and the government which he held loyalty to. And that loyalty had not changed, even with the momentary freedom offered by the Resistance. Still…freedom. The one thing Elloran had never even considered possible. Part of him still wondered if this was just a ruse, and he was being tested by his superiors. That seemed far more likely than the true situation involving pan-dimensional imperialists.
He brooded upon this idea as the shuttle made its way to a docking port on what appeared to be a floating rubbish heap the size of his palace. By the time the exit light flickered on he decided to simply obey his instructions and not think too heavily about the other alternatives. A gesture summoned his two childsoldier bodyguards from their card game, while another alerted his manservant that it was time to go. The final member of their party – a spy from the Ferret Clan – would meet them on the station. Until then, the Inquestor and his servants were ready to disembark. Observe. Understand. Remember. He reminded himself. And never forget the Inquestoral protocols. No matter how tempting it may be…
