Abilities and Skills: For facing her shadow self, Chie received the ability to use a Persona. This takes the form of a card, and when she summons the card in battle and strikes it, it summons someone to fight for her. At her canon point, she summons Tomoe Gozen. It’s a warrior who wields a spear and wears a bright yellow and black jumpsuit like Bruce Lee in Game of Death.
It has the following abilities: -Skewer: A simple pierce attack with its giant spear. -Skull Cracker: A blow to the head in an attempt to confuse an enemy. -Rampage: A twirling of the staff that aims to hit a large group of enemies more than one time each. -Assault Dive: A pierce attack that doubles as a dive for more force. -Gale Slash: A slash that uses the wind to hit a large number of enemies. -Black Spot: A focused attack that causes more damage than her other spear moves. -Heat Wave: Uses heat in conjunction with a spin of the spear to damage a lot of enemies. -Power Charge: It allows Chie and Tomoe to focus and do more damage. -Counterstrike: Tomoe can take blows for Chie. -Bufu: A small ice spell. -Mabufu: A small ice spell that hits more than one enemy. -Bufula: A large ice spell. -Ice Boost: It powers up her ice moves. -Tarukaja: This increases the fighting strength of one nearby person.
Chie has a lot of fighting strength on her own, though. She can do a standing backflip, and she can use her deadly galactic punt to send shadows flying (in the game, she kicks enemies and they go flying off screen: think “Team Rocket is blasting off again!). She can heal ailments in battle if she knocks an enemy down to get the chance, and she is a deadly fighter with her grieves, performing a variety of jump kicks and fatal punts to leave her footprints on her enemies’ faces. Sample: Chie Satonaka stared at the plate in front of her with obvious distaste. Clearly, when she had asked the octopus cook thing for something like steak, it had sorely misunderstood. This was not food. This plate was a brick, and she didn’t even know how to eat it. Not only did it look awful and completely unappetizing, it also looked potentially dangerous to consume. Something rather like she might have concocted. She sighed and looked up at the person sitting across from her. “Um, this is safe to eat…right?”
Back home, she knew that when she asked for steak, her biggest risk was getting something cheap from the Junes food court since everyone was too cheap to actually treat her somewhere nice after winning a bet or a long day of kicking ass in the TV world. Here, though, she didn’t dare complain…too much. She poked at the brick food some more with her fork, before looking back up at her dinnermate. “You know, I think I’m just going to pass tonight.”
Chie tried to listen as he explained to her that it was really safe to eat, she just stared at it and poked at it some more with her fork. “You really mean it? Oh, man, I can’t believe I’m going to actually eat this…” Trying her best to ignore the texture, she calmly cut off a piece of it with her fork and brought it closer to her mouth. She stared at it for a moment longer, then quickly shoved it into her mouth and started to chew. It was better to get things like this over with. After a moment, and with some difficulty, she swallowed it and practically gasped for air. “Oh, man! That…was…really awful. It doesn’t taste like steak at all!”
Chie Satonaka 2/2 I lied
