Personality: Iwasawa is very relaxed most of the time. She's slow to provoke and quick to smile, without being particularly high-energy either way. She has a lot of bad experiences and heartbreaks in her past, but is also acutely aware that the people around her also have it rough, so she puts on a smiling face regardless, seeing it as the best thing she can do both for her friends and for herself. Ultimately, though, she's aware that just keeping your spirits up is far from enough. That's where her music comes in.
Iwasawa loves music. When she was younger, she was living under an abusive marriage with nowhere to escape to. Music became her escape. Accordingly, she became a musician, resolving to live by her music, without relying on her parents for support. She plays partially for the sheer joy of it, and partially because, as she was saved by music, she wants to return the favor by saving someone else with her own.
As such, music is the one thing that Iwasawa shows serious emotion about. She pours her heart into every performance, singing with a fervor she never shows in normal conversation. She gets very defensive about her instruments, particularly her backup guitar. It's not as good as the one she uses in performances, but she keeps it as a keepsake of when she first became a musician. Thus, as a symbol, it is more or less her most prized possession, and woe betide anyone who tries to do anything to it.
Abilities and Skills: Outside of the afterlife, Iwasawa possesses no unusual abilities. She is, however, a decent guitarist and very good singer.
