Urd

Character:

Character's Name: Urd
Character's Fandom: Ah! My Goddess
Character's Home Universe:
This is based off of the manga canon, ignoring the events in the OVA, the movie, the anime TV series, and the novel written by Touma Yumi.

Urd's mother is Hild, the CEO of the Infernal Realm. Obviously that bit should foreshadow what an angst-riddled past Urd has.

Working off of that, Urd is a half-goddess and half-demon hybrid; it's never stated who her father is, but obviously he was a heavenly deity. When Urd was around eight, Hild took her to Heaven where Urd has resided for most of her life since then; she was raised alongside her younger half sisters Belldandy and Skuld. Urd definitely cared for the middle child Belldandy, who was the exemplification of what a goddess was: she was pure, kind, selfless, beautiful, and powerful. In fact, Urd admired her... but also was a bit jealous of her.

During this time, Urd wanted to believe she was a complete goddess. Unfortunately, there came a time when she could no longer deny her demonic heritage, and it illustrated itself to her in a very literal sense... when Urd swallowed her angel egg, she was confronted with World of Elegance, the mirror of her soul.

It was half white... and half black.

Urd then screamed "I never want to see you again!", and World of Elegance sealed herself away. It was then that Urd knew for certain her heritage, and began hating her demon side. It's never specifically stated how she found out more information including that her mother was the CEO of the Infernal Realm, but obviously others in Heaven knew of her dual heritage somehow.

When they were children, Belldandy also came down with an illness whcih required the Jade Dragon Stone of the East. Urd took it upon herself it find it, but in her ADHD she attempted to tame Sleipnir... and by the time she finally did, somebody else found the stone and cured Belldandy.
