Character:

Character's Name: Locke Cole
Character's Fandom: Final Fantasy VI
Character's Home Universe:Locke's home universe is as average as any other... with the exception of magic and science trying to cancel the other out. Magic is forbidden after the world's War of the Magi... with peculiar creatures known as Espers harnessing its power. Espers had chosen to lock their world away from the humans... until a fateful day where the two races had made a chance encounter. With humans wishing to conquer this power of magic, and those opposing its forces, the world is thrown into war once again.
Physical Appearance: The fellow is dressed in dark clothing, wearing a vest and matching pants over a white shirt. A multi-colored bandanna covers his head. His frame is thin but well muscled, blue eyes and a dusty blonde mop of hair covers his head.
Personality: Locke is a man who puts others ahead of himself. He will sometimes do this recklessly, when not even knowing the true status of the one he's helping, as he feels it the right thing to do. It has become his own self-appointed job to protect those who need it, especially females (for some unknown cause, but to himself). Locke joined a force against the world's so-called Empire, in hopes of freeing it from the madness that they had intended for them.
Abilities and Skills: Human wise, without the aid of Espers... Locke is quite the skilled... treasure hunter. While most view this practice as that of a common thief, he takes serious offense to it. In fact... he'll even threaten you if you don't use the correct term he's looking for.
Sample: There was a heavy pause in his motions... surely the creature didn't see even a slight motion from him. Locke remained where he was, intending to attack the creature that was far too close to city boundaries. The young man was doing needless tasks of collecting monster fangs or claws for profit. On occasion, one of the beasts had something useful or of value. Part of him did such needless hunting for the money, for adventure. Another part of him continued such recklessness in order to distract his mind. Keep himself occupied.

With his mind drifting elsewhere, he had made the mistake of alerting the large dog beast. Well, his sneak attack had failed as the creature charged at him. Dodging out of the way by mere inches, Locke whipped his frame around and made an attempt to back stab it. If not the for the armored back, he would've succeeded. The beast turned around and had headbutted him square in the chest, knocking the man a few feet away.

Gasping for breath... he stood to his feet. Gritting his teeth, he realized his own personal "Patrol Duty" would have to wait. For now... fleeing from this animal would be in his best interest. Besides, he could use himself as bait long enough for the monster to look elsewhere for a potential meal. That, and it'd be well out of Kohlingen's city limits.

'You're a genius!' Well... he thought he was at least. Running from the monster would keep his mind plenty occupied.
