This universe has had a continual problem with the appearance of utopias, generally leading to the decline and eventual death of the worlds so effected. However it is also presided over by a caste/proffesion of people known as The Inquest, who play cosmic level games of makrugh (intrigue). They maintain the balance and dynamicism of humanity as a whole. Inquestors are as powerful as humans can be and are traditionally given the title Ton before their names.
A clan name is considered a mark of prestige and duty. Sajit's Shen marks him as part of a clan of musicians.
Physical Appearance: Shen Sajit's home world is not known but his appearance indicates a considerable degree of ancestry from Southeast Asia. He has dark skin and chin length black hair and is of average height. Dark eyes that seem wise for one so relatively young. His fingers are long and callused from playing the whisperlyre. He carries himself with a proud, regal bearing.
He tends to favor long robes in white, but he is willing to adapt his clothing to his environment.
