Poor Jinnto is a milquetoast kinda guy thrust into a stellar conflict that is beyond the scope of what he's comfortable with. A somewhat shy, studious lad, he's the kind of boy who would have been the valedictorian of his class if he were allowed to live out a normal childhood.
Circumstances didn't allow that though. Now legally not just an Abh but Abh nobility, he struggles with his place in the universe. Abh or lander? While the Kin of the Stars have welcomed him as one of them, he still feels sometimes like an outsider. Undoubtedly he longs for his native Martine, its gently rolling hills and farmlands, but that's no longer possible for him. An exile, he seeks comfort in routine and with his friends.
The aw-shucks adorability hides a quick mind though, enough to earn the interest of the notoriously difficult to please Admiral Spaurh.
Complicating all this is the Abh princess he's grown close to over the years. He feels an overwhelming need to be by her side. The nature of this feeling remains confusing for the both of them and they are both rather nervous and awkward whenever the idea that they might be more than just good friends comes up. The difference in their physiology adds an additional complicating layer. He'll age while she remains youthful forever. He's not sure he'd want to inflict that on her. Abilities and Skills: Jinnto is legally a count of the Humankind Empire Abh, making him in fact rather wealthy, although being in the star forces and underage makes most of that wealth inaccesible.
He is trained in the operation of Abh starship systems, having a very basic knowledge of engineering and piloting (although true piloting duties are restricted by physiology to genetic Abh).
As a supply officer, he's the Abh equivalent of a certified accountant. Count on him to count the piles.
He's trained in the Abh tongue and all aspects of their ettiquette, including formal dinner and tea and dancing.
He can stomach Martinese food which is apparently heavy on both the spices and cheese.
